Some Fun Fundraising Ideas

Below are some ideas that can be easily managed and involve little or no start-up cost.  If you have an idea of your own, please use it, and share it with us! Whatever you do, get creative and have fun with it. The timeline for these fundraisers is April 1 through May 3.  We plan to celebrate all your hard work and fundraising efforts with a community Neighbors In Need rally on May 4th at the United Way Center.  Please plan to drop off your collections on that day so we can include you in the community totals and match your dollars 2 to 1.

The following incur little or no cost/expense:

• BLUE JEAN FRIDAYS OR DRESS DOWN DAYS
• BAKE SALES
• CAR WASH DAYS
• ROUNDING UP RETAIL SALES
• PENNY WAR CHALLENGE             
• POCKET/ LOOSE CHANGE

The following may have costs involved:

• ICE CREAM SOCIAL
• DUNK TANK
• LUNCH WITH THE BOSS
• PANCAKE BREAKFAST
• CONEY DOG DAY
• HUMAN SUNDAE

The following auction ideas may need a license and can incur some expense:

• SILENT AUCTION
• AUCTION OF TRAVEL VOUCHERS
• AUCTION OF TICKETS TO SPORTING EVENTS
• AUCTION OF PRIME PARKING SPACES
