ECC NEWS FROM UWJXN!
(Employee Campaign Coordinator)
“May your troubles be less and your blessing be more
And nothing but happiness come through your door”
When you coordinate successful campaigns in your organization, you help to create IMPACT that improves lives in Jackson. Because of you, a working mom can afford child care for her son. Read about the IMPACT you are making here. You make it possible for her to keep her job and for him to receive quality early education. Thank you for making a difference in Jackson.
2016 CAMPAIGN UPDATE
We are in the very early planning stages for the 2016 campaign. Upcoming newsletters will have more information and preview of campaign materials, so please keep an eye out.
Snowmaggedon struck last week forcing us to cancel our Campaign Coordinators Roundtable. We reschedule it for Thursday, March 10th from 3:30 to 4:30 here at United Way. Please RSVP to Marc Daly.
The video for the 2015 What Floats Your Cardboard Boat? Race is ready for you to view, just click here. It’s not too early to be thinking about our campaign kickoff. Contact Stephanie for details about entering this year’s race.
We have plenty of table tents to go around. If we missed your workplace let us know and we can drop some off.
ECC TIP OF THE MONTH
Year Round Engagement Part II – Promoting United Way within your organization periodically throughout the year will bolster your campaign. Here are some simple tips.
- Include United Way facts and results as part of your internal communication. We have several IMPACT stories available on our website. Contact Marc for help.
- Thank you, thank you, thank you…it can’t be said enough. We would embrace the opportunity to come to one of your meetings or gatherings to say thank you.
- Engage new employees outside of campaign season. When a new hire is made, share some of your left over campaign materials with them, including a pledge form. We can provide you with more materials if you have run out.
We’ll have more year-round tips for next month.
