2016 Campaign Update

You’re invited!  We are having a Campaign Preview Luncheon for all our Campaign Coordinators. THAT’S YOU!  It will take place here at United Way on Thursday, August 18th from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM.  You will get a first look at all the new campaign materials, an opportunity to exchange ideas, learn about our focus on alleviating poverty and more.  You’ll also get a pretty awesome free lunch. Please RSVP ASAP to Marc Daly.

Final Go All In LogoMost of our campaign materials are in!  New for 2016 we will have an updated pledge form, revamped Campaign Guide, new posters, an awesome animated video and so much more.  We are scheduling presentations as we speak! (I mean read).  Contact Marc Daly or Beth Shafer and schedule a date and time for us to come to your organization.

BillboardConcept2016Be a part of the 2016 United Way Billboard Campaign!  United Way of Jackson County is partnering with Adams Outdoor Advertising and offering low-cost billboard advertising.  Purchase a standard billboard space for four weeks at a discounted price of $700.  Click here for more details and please share with those who make the marketing decisions for your organization.

Day of Caring
As you may know, volunteering has always been a central pillar to the United Way mission. Now more than ever we see the need to rally people, organizations and businesses around the community in support of one another.

We invite your business to “Go All In” with United Way for a community-wide Day of Caring on August 16, from 9am-3pm. You’ll join businesses from across Jackson County in working with local nonprofits on an array of service projects, making a powerful difference for our community and your employees.

Here are a list of opportunities available that day.

Painting outdoor furniture at the Cascades Humane Society.  Contact Lindy Inosencio

Painting interior rooms and Windows for Catholic Charities Child Advocacy Center.  Contact Kyle Jansen

Painting the fence and outdoor furniture at the Jackson Friendly Home.  Contact Chris Ashley

Painting, clean up and remodel at the E. Michigan Avenue St. Vincent De Paul Store.  Contact Brian Cook

Painting the outside wall at the Spring Arbor Road St. Vincent De Paul Store.  Contact John Risk
