2016 CAMPAIGN UPDATEboatrace2016rev
It’s campaign time and we would like to thank the many businesses and organizations who have already run or have scheduled their campaign.  We can help plan your campaign.  Contact Beth Shafer or Marc Daly and start the conversation.  We can talk about materials, presentations, incentives but most importantly, what happens when you support United Way of Jackson County.  Campaign tools and ideas are available on our website too.

Campaign Kickoff was a hit again this year!!  Check out the photo album on our website.  You’re sure to see someone you know.  Want to be in the race next year?  Contact Stephanie Schiro to reserve your spot today.

Share Stories of Impact Videos and our blog IMPACTS! with your coworkers.  A link in a simple email shows everyone in your organization the impact of their donation.  Also, Ken Toll’s recent three part series does a great job of explaining why focusing on poverty in Jackson County is so important.  Share these stories throughout your workplace during campaign season and all year long.

▼Note the October 27th deadline below in Upcoming Events!

Our goal is to inform you of campaign materials and information that are always available for you to read and share online.  Check out “Campaign Basics” and “Have Fun with Incentives” on our Campaign Materials and Videos page.  An outstanding volunteer and longtime UWJC supporter Carolyn Bloodworth from Consumers Energy does a great job explaining how easy it is to run a campaign and how you can improve an existing campaign with incentives.

10/27 (Thu) 5:30 PM Have your campaign envelopes turned in by this date to be eligible to win a $100 Visa gift card.

11/04 (Fri) Save the date!  The Women’s Leadership Council presents Power of the Purse – Arabian Nights at the Country Club of Jackson.  Order your tickets today!

Complete United Way of Jackson County Calendar of Events is available on our homepage.

Again, thank you for everything you do.
